Building a Real-Time Sports Media Platform

• Migration from Bitrix to Drupal, with a custom migration script that transferred thousands of articles while maintaining SEO structure.
• Integration with FlashScore, a third-party service that supplies real-time sports data.
• Implementation of a caching strategy to balance static and dynamically updated content.
• Multilingual functionality with automated translations to reach wider audiences.
• UI/UX redesign to improve navigation, readability, and user retention.

The project was built using Drupal, React, and Python, which allowed us to balance flexibility with performance. Drupal ensured strong content management capabilities, while React provided a smooth, interactive user experience on the front end. Python handled backend logic and integrations, setting the foundation for potential betting features in the future. The architecture ensured seamless delivery of real-time updates without page reloads.
