Far-reaching web development and migration solution for a Non-profit organization

During the global pandemic, the OLPH Parish had unexpected problems related to the functioning of the existing site.

Their website became more actively visited, which made them review specific parameters of the platform and face some issues:

• the outdated design that has become one of the main obstacles for users;
• user-friendliness at an inadequate level;
• the functionality no longer met the needs and required changes and expansion;
• working with the content required more effort from administrators.

All this needed to be changed as soon as possible.

First, the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish asked for a straightforward redesign according to new standards. However, it became clear that too many significant changes were needed to meet the new demands. Hence, the final solution was to build a new website from scratch and develop a reliable content migration functionality to save all the necessary information and make the process smooth and seamless.

We’ve chosen a new Drupal version due to its broad functionality and attractive design, more capabilities for customization, and changes if necessary.

As a part of our full-cycle web development services, we’ve provided the client with support and maintenance.

Special attention was paid to UX/UI design as the goal was to improve user experience, simplify navigation and add an appealing interface to the platform. The logo and design were created following modern trends. We employed a flat design approach for the project and incorporated a new color scheme.
